With breathtaking countryside views for over 30 miles, Drakestone House has stood on the edge of Stinchcombe since 1911. It’s one of the last country houses to be built before the start of World War One. Reflecting the influence of the Arts and Crafts movement throughout the house it boasts stunning period features, one of the most fabulous Cotswold Yew gardens designed over 100 years ago and stunning countryside views.

Rebecca and the team at Drakestone really gave us a magical weekend to remember. From the moment Neil and I drove up the the driveway we knew it was the place we wanted to get married at. Having your own experienced wedding planner really helps take the stress out of the planning and the day itself. The Country Marquee Company that supplied the marquee and all the other bits were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly. Trev who is their onsite help was brilliant from making us cups of tea whilst setting up the marquee to making sure all was ok throughout the evening. This venue really is like no other venue we have been too. So many extra touches which made us and our family and friends feel so special. We loved the fact that we had a blank canvas to make our own visions come true and that we were able to use our own suppliers. All with the support of the Drakestone team. Our family and friends were blown away by the house, views and gardens. We couldn't of had a better day, it really was perfect. Neil & Holly x
